Gerran Lyn Howell (born 25 February 1991) is a Welsh actor, best known for playing "Vladimir Dracula" in Young Dracula, a CBBC vision series that initially aired been 2006 to 2008 and now 2011. The show revolves around Vlad and his family, who happen to be vampires, as they try to live in a small, rural British town after they moved there from Transylvania. A third series began airing in October 2011. Currently being shown on Mondays and Tuesdays at 5.15 pm till 5.45. There are thirteen episodes to series 3, where Gerran plays an 17 year old Vlad, 4 years on, now with almost full vampire powers which he must learn to control.
Howell has also appeared in a few short films and television shows, appearing as "Niall Andrews" in Casualty. He has recorded voice-overs for radio adverts. In 2011 he appeared as "Ernesto" in an episode of the CBBC drama The Sparticle Mystery.
